    Every row becomes a video, all rendered in parallel.

Other services rent you a fixed number of render slots, and your batch waits in line behind them. Ours starts on four renderers and adds one every ten seconds, so it speeds up as it runs, ramping up to hundreds of renderers in parallel. That doesn’t cost more: the price per minute is the same on four renderers or hundreds.

That’s about 85× faster than two render slots, and about 11× faster than sixteen.

1,000 videos of 30 seconds. After Effects at 3× the video’s length, the estimate automation vendors give for simple templates. AE Render as our batch runner works: it starts on 4 renderers and adds one every 10 seconds; real batches reached 1,000 videos in 9 to 10½ minutes. The race plays at 240× real time.

Sources and assumptions
  1. Estimates in USD for 1080p, 30 to 60-second templates. After Effects takes longer to render a complex template than a simple one, so we assumed 2 to 10 times the video's length, the range vendors publish. Our price is billed on the length of the finished video, however complex the template is. Prices checked on 28 October 2026.
  2. 1 Plainly: $69 a month for 50 minutes up to $649 a month for 600 minutes, counted on output length, no published overage rate, 2 to 16 concurrent renders by plan with the rest throttled (plainlyvideos.com/pricing, rendering docs). nexrender pay-as-you-go: $119 a month plus $0.21 per minute of processing time, which runs 2 to 10 times the video's length, 10 concurrent renders (nexrender.com/pricing).
  3. 2 Plainly Unlimited: $1,500 a month with 2 concurrent renders. nexrender Dedicated: from $420 a month with 1 concurrent render. Range assumes the slots are busy 50 to 100% of the month.
  4. 3 Super Renders Farm: $0.004 per GHz-hour, $0.99 an hour for a 48-vCPU node, 2 to 4 times that for faster priorities (superrendersfarm.com/en/pricing). TurboRender: $1.25 per server-hour (turborender.com/prices). Node start-up time is not included.
  5. 4 Dataclay Templater Bot: $450 a month per render machine (Q4 2025 fee schedule), plus an assumed $1 an hour cloud machine, billed only while rendering, and the slots busy half the month.

Questions

Do you run After Effects?

No. We rebuild your project in our own renderer and bill for the length of the finished video, however long After Effects would take. The compatibility report shows exactly what came across.

Which versions of After Effects work?

Projects saved by After Effects 2018 through 2026. Send .aep files, not the XML .aepx format.

What about expressions and plug-ins?

Neither runs yet: expressions are due in December 2026, most effects and plug-ins in Q1 2027. Until then, convert expressions to keyframes (Animation › Keyframe Assistant). Plug-in looks that are the same in every video can be rendered once and placed back in the comp as footage.

My template was built for iDooMo. Does it still work?

Yes. A project carrying iDooMo’s placeholder effect imports the way it was built: its placeholders and layer names such as Title_01 or Media_05 mark the fields.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Pay per project for a campaign or a one-off batch. A monthly plan pays off from about 3,000 minutes a month and is needed for render links, which stay live while the plan runs.

Does rendering faster cost more?

No. A batch ramps up to hundreds of renderers in parallel at the same price per minute. You pay for the length of the finished videos, not for render slots.

Can I change the template after import?

Yes, in our browser-based editor. That’s also where you add a voiceover per row, scenes that only some rows get, and text that shrinks to fit long names.

Where are my files processed?

In the AWS region you choose: US East, US West, EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt) or Asia Pacific (Sydney).

Can I automate it later?

Yes. The same templates render through our REST API when you want an integration.
